Window in Chancel

The chancel contains most examples of coloured glass in the church, and these date from the 19th century. The window to the north-east of the chancel records that it was given in memory of Edith Armitage, who died in 1866, and the panel at the south depicting a scene from the Nativity was given in memory of HF and K Radford, and dedicated in 1885.

Fragments of 14th century glass are to be found in most of the windows in the nave and the north aisle, and in one window at the south, in the chancel.

Rumours say that much of the glass is buried somewhere in the Churchyard.
